What estate cleaning includes
Homes that were lived in for decades need more than a standard clean. Our estate cleaning typically covers:
- Full kitchen degreasing: inside appliances, cabinets and range hood
- Bathroom descaling and sanitizing
- Walls spot-washed, plus baseboards, trim, doors and switch plates
- Basements, attics and garages swept and cleaned once they've been emptied
- Floors deep-cleaned; carpets vacuumed (extraction as an add-on)
- Windows (interior) and window tracks
- Deodorizing cleaning of hard surfaces (we don't do biohazard or trauma cleaning)

We work with your other vendors
Estate cleaning is usually the last step after an estate-sale company or junk-removal crew has cleared the home. We coordinate with them, and with your realtor, (estate sale company partner program) so cleaning is booked right after the cleanout and the house is ready for photos. Don't have a cleanout crew yet? We can haul it out ourselves before the clean.
For executors and out-of-town families
Many families managing a Chicago-area estate live out of state. We can work from a lockbox, send photos before and after, and coordinate directly with your realtor or attorney, so you don't have to fly in for the cleaning.
Pricing
Estate cleaning is quoted after a walkthrough (in person or by video), based on the home's size, condition, and whether the basement, attic and garage are included. The estimate is free.
Estate cleanouts: haul + clean
After the estate sale, we can clear and haul out what's left, do the estate clean, and handle touch-up or full repainting before listing. See the Estate Cleanout Package.
